No Bus Stops Here (Grey Held)

$0.00

First came the poem. Then came the idea of a bus-stop sign to reverberate with the words. The poem is one of many “marriage” poems from my book, Spilled Milk published in 2013 by Word Press (Cincinnati, OH). It’s what I think of as an “early marriage” episode—a time when hearts were bruised, and more competent ways of communicating were yet to arrive. The phrase “No Bus Stops Here” suggests the nature of being stuck.
